Whether or not your home will soon be home to a PWD (or an aged person), incorporating accessibility into a kitchen design is never a bad idea. The layout for such a kitchen is basically the same, but it needs to account for the clearance of the walker or wheelchair. The space should enable the PWD to move close to and away from a workstation with ease.
